[DE] KombiVerkehr-Traxx spotted / Bombardier Traxx
185 665 has been spotted during its maiden run. The machine is one of six from the Lokomotion order for Traxx F140 AC2 units. Unlike the 661 which has the Lokomotion-striping, this machines is white with red fronts and KombiVerkehr-logos. This company is main shareholder of Lokomotion. - DSO

[CH] Stadler electric outshopped! / general news
On 19.12.2007, SBB announced an order for 21 electric shunting locomotives, to be delivered from July 2009 into 2010. Stadler Winterthur AG has developed the two-axle units for the SBB of which the first one is outshopped this month. Its designation is Ee 922 and these machines will be based in Basel, Bern, Biel, Brig, Chur, Luzern, St. Gallen and Zürich, where they will be used for shunting activities for passenger services around these stations. Until the end of 2009, the Ee 922 001 will be tested and evaluated, and Stadler will built another five machines. In 2010 the remaining 15 units will be delivered. - SBB
  The Ee 922 has a Bo wheel configuration and 612 kW duration power. Its top speed is 100 kph. It weighs 44 tonnes and its traction effort goes up to 120 kN. - JMA
The concept of an electric shunter is very unique in Europe nowadays, which makes the Ee 922 a remarkable product. Our thanks goes out to Georg Trüb, for letting us publish his pictures.

 A short message about the whereabouts of several CBRail/Veolia E 37500s. Last week, E 37510 brought E 37517, E 37519 and E 37520 to Germany, spotted around Gremberg. Three other machines are parked in a harbour in Lyon [FR]. The picture shows us E 37515, E 37524 and E37529. - AG

[DE] from Kassel / Bombardier Traxx
 Several unsolved cases from Kassel this time. First one is about the three prototype 185 series locomotives built for DB Schenker back in 1999. The image shows the recent come-back of the 185 003 Kassel. Several websites mention the recent withdrawal of all three machens (per 04.05.2009) and that one of the 185 001-003 have been seen with a NVR number ending with -BTK and not -DB. Let's see what the future will bring!

 Another case is that of again two Traxx F140 MS locomotives for operator Veolia. This operator has 9 Traxx machines on order (3x F140 AC2 / 185 and 6x F140 MS / 186). Three have been completed in 2008; 185 598, 186 181 and 186 182. The first one is parked around Kassel ever since, the other two lost their Veolia logos after delivery and were rented out to ITL. However, this operator has recently ended the contract for both machines so now they are back by Bombardier again.
Last week, two new electrics in the colours of Veolia have been spotted during their maiden run: 186 184 and 185. So new machines are still to come. Let's see how the story of the Traxx fleet of Veolia continues. - DSO/Rolandrail.net/DSO

[DE] about ES 64 F4s / Siemens EuroSprinter
  Two ES 64 F4 units, formerly hired to Nordcargo, have been retrofitted in Wegberg-Wildenrath lately, and got a new identity. ES 64 F4-013 (VD) is now the ES 64 F4-202 (VO), ES 64 F4-025 is now ES 64 F4-206 (VO). Both engines got a white front and still have their Nordcargo logos!
