As of July 2012, several of NJ Transit's new ALP-45DPs are now in regular service. NJT 4505 handles the 5:11 departure from Hoboken Terminal to Lake Hopatcong, NJ. These units are primarily used on the Montclair-Boonton Line at this time, although roaming on other Hoboken Division lines does occur.
