On 06.06.2012, Alstom and Siemens completed the delivery of the BB75000/BB75400 series to SNCF and its subsidiaries. That day, the last locomotive with services number 475468 was added to the fleet of Fret SNCF, the SNCF freight department.

In total, two hundred locomotives of this type have been built over the past years, in two different subtypes:

- 132 units with a 2000kW MTU R41 diesel engine (BB 75001-75099, 75101-175133)
- 68 units with a 2400kW MTU R43 diesel engine (BB 75401-75468)

Of the 2000kW version, 21 units are assigned the SNCF Infra, most of them being painted in a bright yellow livery. 19 machines are available to Akiem for hire or lease. - Ferrovissime/VC
