Railcolor: Interesting for us is that SBB Cargo plans to lease/hire extra locomotives for non-stop freight services between Germany and Italy (DACHI-configuration). This contradicts with the fleet strategy of the past decade. For international services, only CH-D (Re482 series) and CH-I (Re474 and Re484 series) were acquired. Of the first type mentioned, SBB Cargo hires a substantial part (of the 50 units available) to other operators.

BTW, With ES 64 F4-083 and 107, SBB Caego already operates two lease-locomotives which can be used for services to Germany, Switserland and Italy.
