Since December 2010, DB Regio hired six TRAXX AC2 locomotives from Alpha Trains for S-Bahn services in and around Nürnberg (185 616-619 and 633-634). An temporary solution, as long as the Bombardier Talent2 train sets were not approved and homologated.

One and a half year later, Talent2 is ready to roll. The 185.2s had their last day of revenue service on 31.05.2012. Today they will go to Krefeld. - AH/MM
