Prima II-2: introduction

On the Innotrans 2010 railway fair, Alstom will present a second demonstrator for its Prima II locomotive platform. Like prototype Prima II-1 it will be four-voltage electric locomotive, but better skilled for passenger services as it can run up to 200 kph. Therefore it will be equipped with the two-axle bogies Alstom originally developed for the SNCF BB 36000 series (Astride). - Alstom
